I have known Brian for many years through BNI and attended an Asentiv Elevate Your Referrals with Ease workshop.
At that event Brian talked about the Asentiv Pro programme that he was starting. Having been in BNI for many years I though I knew all about referrals but decided to take a punt to see if it would make a difference to my business.
We worked on my Emotionally Charged Connection and my values and having to drill down to my top 4 values, which was quite difficult, led me to a realisation that one of my core values was Integrity. What I came to realise was that my brand and messaging was not reflecting my company and not helping me. So, I have completely transformed my business as a result of doing this work with Brian. New everything! New name, new logo. It has been an investment but so worth it and we have sent out 50 invites t our launch event in January to kick-start our growth for 2019.
It has allowed me to reconnect with clients. We are really good at what we do as IT support but don’t have too much interaction with our clients. Our message and contact points have now changed. Rather than just being there when there is a problem, we have turned it around into how we can help connect people together. We’ve been doing a lot more marketing, including sponsoring a local football team and the growth in business has come through what we are doing.
I have been in business for 20 years and after all this time the business can feel tired. Having done the work and the programme I have a new impetus to push forward. I have new desire about what we can achieve and how we can add value to our client base.
I am excited about taking on the right customers for our business which takes the pressure of business growth.
I have changed the way I approach my networking and my BNI meetings. My power team has changed, and I am working a lot more closely with people. I am working smarter not harder in my networking and BNI groups and I am getting the results because of it.
